Beelzebumon is a Demon Lord Digimon whose name and design are derived from the mythological Beelzebub. One of the Seven Great Demon Lords, it represents Venus and the sin of Gluttony. While it possesses the power to command the many Devil Digimon, it dares to observe a solitary existence. It is said that it could stand at the peak of the dark army Nightmare Soldiers, if it cared to, although it is also said that there exists a Demon Lord Digimon which surpasses even Beelzebumon. It rides on the gigantic motorcycle-type machine Behemoth, holding its cherished shotguns the Berenjena. Although its personality is cruel and merciless, it is also exceedingly prideful, so it would never attack the weak. In Digimon Tamers, When Impmon accepted an offer from Caturamon for power, he evolved to Beelzebumon. He tried to kill the Tamers and their partners, and eventually stabbed Leomon, Juri's partner, with his Darkness Claw, killing him. This infuriated Takato, who forced Megalo Growmon to evolve into Megidramon to kill Beelzebumon, but he went on a rampage and eventually reverted to Guilmon. Following that, Takato and Guilmon Matrix Evolved together into Dukemon, who nearly killed Beelzebumon. However, Beelzebumon was spared by Juri. By the time Beelzebumon appeared again, he was determined to repent for his sins, and evolved further into Blast Mode. In Digimon Xros Wars, Beelzebumon is the evolved form of Baalmon who serves as his reincarnated state. By using his Death the Cannon techinque, he helped Shoutmon X4K defeat Hi Mugendramon but disappeared immediately afterwards.
