He is the current daimyō of the Land of Wind, replacing the former wind daimyō. During a meeting of the Five Great Shinobi Countries' daimyō he was the third daimyō out of the five, who consented to allow the Allied Shinobi Forces to officially form, being wary of "Madara Uchiha"'s position as the leader of Akatsuki.
