Kouji Sekine

関根 康史

A young man living in the Kyoto region. He works as a cameraman and is aprofessional karuta player. Formerly affiliated with the Nagoro-Kai, an elite club with only twenty members, he moved to the much larger Satsuki-Ka when his mentor Shikao Nagoro disappeared. He went on to reach the finals of the Satsuki Cup, but lost each time to the current champion, Toshiya Yajima. He is the organizer for the annual lottery of the Satsuki-Ka.
