A new member and the only female manager of the Japanese Football Union. Frustrated with Japan’s lack of success, Anri challenges her superiors and proposes a unique plan to revolutionize the landscape of Japanese football by creating Blue Lock. While her idea is initially ridiculed and met with skepticism by most people, Anri proudly defends Blue Lock and maintains the belief it will succeed. All of Blue Lock’s contestants were selected by Anri herself, excluding Isagi Yoichi, who was chosen by Ego Jinpachi. Much to her annoyance, Anri is frequently forced to bear the brunt of Ego’s belittlement and disrespect while working alongside him. Nevertheless, she retains her dignity and performs her duties without complaint. Anri also commonly oversees the various games and matches held within Blue Lock, serving as a VAR.
