Originally, Ehara applied for a part-time job on ufotable's Machi Asobi CAFE, but in May 2014, without any special auditions she was selected to voice Chiwa in ufotable's original project "Ohenro". In 2016, after moving to Tokyo, she studied voice acting and stage acting at Mouse Promotion. In the same year, Yuri Ehara officially joined ufotable, becoming an in-house staff for the animation studio, where she belongs to this day.
