His whole life, Koremitsu Akagi has been labeled a delinquent by his classmates owing to his angry expression, bright red hair, and violent tendencies. These rumors continue on in high school, isolating him once more. Even so, the school's famed playboy, Hikaru Mikado, kindly greets Koremitsu and even insists that they talk again. Unfortunately, this remains the only interaction the two boys would ever have before Hikaru's untimely death. After reluctantly attending Hikaru's funeral, Koremitsu finds the ghost of Hikaru following him. Realizing that Koremitsu alone can see him, Hikaru decides to enlist his help.
