Descended from a long line of book collectors, high school student Mifuyu is surrounded by books in every aspect of her life. Her great-grandfather established the famous Mikura Hall, a library in the heart of town, and even the townspeople are all avid readers. There's just one problem—Mifuyu hates books! This film was just screened at a film festival in my city. I’ve been waiting to see it for a long time and unfortunately was a bit disappointed. Very beautiful with a fun, unique premise and some interesting characters. But for a story literally about books and the power of storytelling, the storytelling wasn’t great.…
